Bob's Red Mill Almond Meal / Flour -- 16 oz
Another great quality product from Bob's Red Mill
I've used many other Bob's Red Mill products and found them to be very fresh and made from good quality material. This one is no different.
I use it to bake bread, make cookies, and even to put into my curry dish as thickener.
The only reason for a four-star and not a five is the price. I found Dowd & Rogers California Almond Flour to be of excellent quality and at a more affordable price.

Excellent quality and taste!
This almond flour can be used to make brown betty with fruit and coconut oil and no other form of sugar. It is also delicious to be eaten from the bag. Taste and quality are excellent!

It's ok, but I found better
In my many experiments using almond flour, I have come to realize that you should only use almond FLOUR (not meal), that it should be BLANCHED, and that it should be SIFTED prior to mixing in with other ingredients. I have had mixed results with Bob's Red Mill. Note the package states "meal/flour". I have since found pure almond flour (not meal) from Honeyville, and have had great success - truly!. Although I do like Bob's many other products, I cannot recommend this specific product. There are better almond flour products out there.

Awesome, except for the price
It's pricey if you're trying to use it regularly. Awesome product however. I make pancakes with it using almond butter, one egg, almond milk, water, and berries. No flour needed!

love this stuff
I use this often but it is so expensive. Love the deals I can get here. I replace a quarter of my flour in many recipes with this to give me the almond nutrition. It makes for a great crumble on furit pies and other desserts. Found a shortcake recipe that used this and it was soooo goood with fresh peaches.
