Bob's Red Mill Black Currants -- 16 oz
Use in oatmeal, apple slaw, baking or eaten right out of the bag!
Not exactly the taste I expected however by definition-
• Currants are dried, dark red, seedless grapes. They are dried to produce a black, tiny shriveled, flavor-packed grape that was originally cultivated in the south of Greece, and the name currant comes from the ancient city of 'Corinth'. These currants are known as Zante currants in the States.

I love this product I use it in kale salad, hot oats, plain yogurt and the list goes on & on ... I just wish it was organic

These are currants - not blackcurrants
Don't be fooled by Red Mill - these are currants, made from grapes, not blackcurrants, an entirely different fruit. This may be a nomenclature issue, but I certainly didn't get what I expected.
These are very nice currants, as currants go.

I'm putting these in muffins and cookies! I hadn't been able to find these for years in stores and now I've found them at Vitacost!

perfect for salads!
I love currants as a pop for salads or for a homemade trail mix because they have no added oils.
