Brown rice flour does not impart that grainy feel/taste in baked goodies like white rice flour can. If a recipe calls for white, I just use brown and the results are great. I do still use white rice for some things, like coatings for frying. I make up my own flour mixes and this is a must have item. I love Bob's gluten free products.

I like this flour
I use this a lot for baking. No one even knows that I use brown rice flour in my baked goods. :)

My so n loves fried foods. Used the oven fry method and this Rice Flour gave the same crispness as usual flour. Didn't even know the difference. And the biscuits were great. Try this product.

Great quality and price
I love Bobs because their flours are non-GMO! I bake a lot of gluten free and use it as part of my blend.
The texture is super fine so it's great for baking.
Best price I've found is with Vitacost. I searched everywhere, I dare you to find it cheaper anywhere else. You won't. Vitacost is just that awesome.
The bags themselves are new product with expiration dates usually two years out.
Keep in mind brown rice flour can go rancid quicker than others because of its high oil content I believe. I store mine in the freezer to extend it's two year shelf life.
