"I always keep coming back to Bob's Red Mill Coconut. I didn't know what real coconut tasted like until I tried this! I was so used to the sweetened kind you buy in the grocery store. This stuff is like you are really eating a coconut! Yes, it is dry- it isn't sticky like the sweetened kind you use in baking. But give this a try sprinkled on anything like oatmeal, cereal, homemade cookies or eat it right from the bag. Love it."

"Most shredded coconut has sugar in it and it's nice to be able to get the healthier kind.
We use it to make granola bars and add honey, oatmeal, natural peanut butter and raisins. Makes a great snack when you want something sweet. I would recomment getting it."

To use our dried coconut instead of fresh, soak in warm water until soft. For toasted coconut, spread in a shallow pan and toast at 375 degrees for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently. Coconut brings a wonderful flavor and texture to foods. Here are two of our favorite recipes. Refrigerate after opening.
