Love Bob's Red Mill Products - But Not This One
Sorry, I know other people say they like this, but we thought it was just beyond awful. It smells super weird, the taste of the batter was even worse than the smell, but we still tried to bake it in hopes it would come out okay, to no avail. The baked cake was just horrible as well. This one just didn't work for us, but again, I love most all other Bob's Red Mill products that I've tried.

Great with add ons
I purchased this mix because of the reviews here. But before I made my cupcakes I went online and searched more reviews, and there were a lot of complaints about this mix tasting like beans since it is made from bean powder, so I decided to add a few things. I added extra sugar, chocolate chips, and vanilla. They came out perfect, They tasted so good and the texture was exactly like cake. I didn't give it a 5 because i cant image how terrible it would have tasted without the extra ingredients I added, so the mix is great for texture but not so much for the taste I would never make this without adding the extra ingredients.

Very good!
I made cupcakes out these with a dark chocolate/peanut butter glaze and they were sooo good. Even people adverse to healthy/gluten-free foods liked them. They also froze well too, so that's a plus. I will definitely be buying this again.

Moist
This cake mix is easy to make. I was pleasantly surprised that being gluten free it tasted very good. I also accompanied it with a home made whip cream. Will buy again.
