Great base mix I use this for making lots of different kinds of muffins and find it very convenient as well as wholesome. Adding mashed or pureed bananas, apples, prunes, and other fruit varies the flavor, as well as adding different spices. The basic mix is full of flavor by itself also. November 12, 2012

Great product The perfect answer for those of us who like a little desert, but want to stay away from the processed muffin mixes in the stores. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth (like me), add a little honey to the mix. There's only one problem... they disappear very quickly once they come out of the oven. April 30, 2012

Baking Instructions

To make 12 extraordinary muffins, just mix 1 cup water, ½ cup molasses or honey, ¼ cup oil, 1 egg and 2-¾ cups of Bob's Red Mill Oat Bran Muffin Mix together. Spoon into greased muffin pan and bake 15 minutes at 400F. For unique and delightfully moist muffins, add ¼ cup applesauce, crushed pineapple or banana.

Keeps best refrigerated or frozen.
