Stone ground from whole rye berries cracked rye is a good source of iron, protein and dietary fiber.
Cooking Instructions:
3 cups Water
½ tsp Salt
1 cup Cracked Rye
In a medium saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Add cracked rye and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with milk and honey.
Keeps best refrigerated or frozen.
