Bob's Red Mill Organic Spelt Berries -- 24 oz
I soak these over night, rinse then cook. It takes a long time to cook, but then I have it along side my scrambled eggs in the morning instead of rice. I put it in soup, and eat it with a dollup of butter on top, or a tsp. of miso mixed in. Or with steamed vegetables.

Great price for a great product
I grind all of my flour for baking. This grain is absolutely excellent both for grinding in home grinders and adding to breads. Great product and price is better than Bob's Red Mill site.

I use these spelt berries in my milling machine which turns it into flour, of which I use for baking bread. This is in place of wheat of which I am not able to eat. The only requirement is that I have to add a tsp. of vitamin C to the recipe for Spelt bread in order for the loaf to come out right.

I use spelt every week - plain as a side dish at dinner time and as a base to many different salads.

Terrific for pizza dough
I ground these berries up in my vitamix blender and then used the spelt flour for my pizza dough along with some vital wheat gluten and made the best ancient wheat grain whole grain dough. My family loves the pizza made with this.
