Very clean and very well washed
These seeds used to be hit and miss, but they are now consistently very well washed and very clean of pod/stem/crown material. Crunch for baking ethnic delicious treats, yes - pst, no (almost crystal clear batter).

Excellent poppyseeds!!!
The very best around!!! Not processed, steamed or washed...they retain flavor that makes ethnic dishes like babkas, authentic and awesome. So much better to buy these& then freeze what you don't use instead of buying stale poppyseeds that are processed to have a long shelf life.

great value and quality
I include these when we bake for our daughter at times, just to get a little more nutrition- they have calcium! Great deal over just the little bottle. I just save the old bottle and refill it.
