Basic Cooking Instructions
1 cup Bob's Red Mill Sweet Brown Rice
1 Tbsp Butter
2 cups Water or Stock
¼ tsp Salt
Place all ingredients in a 2 quart pot with a tight-fitting lid. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer on low boil for 45 minutes. Do not remove lid. Remove from heat and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Sweet rice is very sticky and lends itself well to dessert recipes. A rice cooker may be used with the same rice-to-water ratio. Makes 3 cups. Sweet Brown Rice has only the husk removed to insure full flavor and nutrition.
Keeps best refrigerated or frozen.
