This fine whole grain cereal is milled from whole kernels of U.S. #1 hard red and soft white wheat and is complete in every respect. It contains all the wheat germ with its precious oil, all the fiber from the outer bran layer of the wheat and all the protein from the inner endosperm.

 

Whole Wheat Farina Cereal is stone ground from high protein hard red wheat. It's similar to cracked wheat, only milled finer for a delightful hearty cereal.


Directions

Cooking Instructions:

For a nutritious high fiber hot breakfast cereal, bring 3 cups water and ½ teaspoon salt to a boil. Add 1 cup Bob's Red Mill Whole Wheat Farina and turn heat down. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes enough for four hungry folks. Serve with honey (or brown sugar), milk and a big smile! Add almost any fruit - sliced bananas, peaches, raisin, etc., and/or date, walnut, pecan or sunflower pieces to increase your breakfast nutrition and pleasure.

 

Microwave Instructions:

In large bowl, combine ¼ cup Bob's Red Mill Whole Wheat Farina and ¾ cup water. Cover and microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. Makes 1 serving.
