Be aware of alcohol in it My girls like it, and seemed it gave them some relieve and better sleep. The only thing I was very surprised about it the amount of alcohol in it... I am still hesitating if it's OK with me for my kids to take alcohol... :) April 17, 2013

Old product better I currently have a cold and was finishing my old bottle of B&T cough syrup. I cough in bed. This syrup was very soothing (immediately) to my throat and had a dark cherry flavor. It lasted about 4 hours. Last night I opened the new bottle and poured it into measuring cup & it looked weird, so I re-shook the bottle, but I still came out strange looking. Then I looked at the box and it said new & improved lighter syrup. I tasted it. It burned my throat and tasted like regular cough syrup. I've used this syrup for years because I can't tolerate side-effects of pharmaceuticals. I'm irritated they fixed something that wasn't broke that I've used for many years and now it tastes terrible and doesn't work as good. I'm giving it 3 stars because it did last 2 hrs. Adults and children 12 years of age and over: 2 teaspoons 1/2 hour before bedtime. Dosage may be repeated if necessary. Children under 12: consult a doctor.

Warnings
