Brother Bru-Bru's African Hot Pepper Sauce -- 5 fl oz
No salt, good on everything
This sauce, concocted by famed guitarist, Bruce Langhorne - who recorded with Bob Dylan, Richard and Mimi Farina and many others, has no salt owing to Bruce's personal need for heat w/out salt. It has great peppery flavor which is beneficial to everything. I put it on my oatmeal in the morning, which I eat Southern grits style (which would be salt, pepper and butter), adding tamari and Bru-Bru's. I put a few drops in waffle batter one Christmas morning. Everyone wanted to know what was that great flavor. Delicious. Get it and get righteous ! Cheaper here than anywhere else !

Product tastes great and NO sodium.
We love this sauce, it is very tasty and has good heat to it. Also has no sodium, we just love it.

not what it used to be
I have been buying this hot sauce for years from several sources including vitacost and loved it. This batch was not as rich in flavor and had more of a vinegar taste. I contacted the company to find out if they had a bad batch or changed their recipe..month later and no response from them.If it is bright in color I recommend sending it back, the original is a deep color and yet the spices are still visible.

Excellent Flavor, but not so HOT!
We love Brother Bru Bru's African Hot Sauce and have been using it for years. I was excited to see that it was available on Vitacost.com. It is really hard to find here in Portland, Oregon! I've purchased 5 or 6 bottles in the past two months! It has an excellent flavor, unlike a lot of bottled hot sauces, which tend to be vinegary. The pepper flavor really comes through, not the vinegar. We were a bit disappointed in the heat factor. It used to be a lot hotter (or perhaps we have a higher tolerence for heat?). None-the-less, it is an excellent sauce and I would recommend it to anyone who likes great flavor with a little spiciness.

I love this hot sauce. The taste is great and hot!! I really love the fact that it's sodium free!
