best pickles ever
I have loved Bubbie's pickles for many years, but they are difficult for me to find locally. So I was very happy to find them at Vitacost. But there is a downside. These are fresh pickles with living cultures. (That's not the downside, that's a big plus!) As such they require constant refrigeration, as stated on the bottle. However, as far as I can tell Vitacost does not refrigerate this item, and it is certainly not kept cool during shipment which can be many days. I contacted Bubbie's about this issue and they said that the pickles will still be safe to eat, but may lose quality -- become over-fermented and soft and mushy. They said they would try to convince Vitacost to keep the item refrigerated and to ship with a cold pack. That would be a great help. It would also be nice if Vitacost carried the full quart jar with larger pickles and better value. I hope this will happen.

Best pickles! Note the size though, this is smaller than the one I normally get at the store. So, not as good of a deal as I first thought. But, still good.

The best pickle out there!
These are the only pickles that are naturally fermented (not using vinegar), making them exceptional for your health. No added nonsense, just a perfect pickle.

Wonderful pickles, ordering more soon
This is how a pickle should taste! Wonderful flavor and crispness. Naturally fermented without all the vinegar and sugars like other pickles. We drink the juice too to get all the health benefits. Don't expect all the pickles to be the same size though. There was a variety of big and small pickles in our jar.
