Better than Sobakawa!
I have had long-standing neck problems (C1 and C2 alignment problems, lead to headaches and stiffness) and a year or so ago I switched from a standard pillow to the Sobakawa "bead" pillow. I was amazed. Much less pain and just more comfortable. Then I saw this pillow and read the reviews and figured I'd try it out, as the casing for my Sobakawa was stretching and thus losing some of the support. I have to say, despite the noise (which you really do get used to) it's a great pillow! 4 stars instead of 5 only because it's a bit smaller than standard so my pillowcase doesn't fit it very nicely. But it's heavy so I guess if it was bigger it would only be heavier. A great supportive pillow for back and side sleepers (probably too dense for stomach sleepers, but what do I know). Not really made for travel, but they make a smaller travel pillow for that. I definitely recommend this pillow!
(Also, no smell at all coming from the buckwheat hulls, in case you were wondering.)

Best Pillow Ever
The Bucky Pillow is really the best pillow I have ever slept on. It conforms to the head and neck and I am sleeping better and more soundly. The Pillow also has a nice weight to it.
My fiancee is thrilled because now I have my own Bucky pillow and am not always trying to steal his.

Comfy Pillow
I bought this to replace a buckwheat pillow that was getting old. It is very comfortable, well made and has a lot of filling in it. I think Bucky makes quality products.

worth every penny
Needed a new pillow and read a lot of reviews on this bucky pillow. I found so many good comments, that I ordered it. It came good smelling in a beautiful carry bag and I have enjoyed every minute on it so far.
You can form it the way you want it and it stays that way. If you need to change position during the night, the filling forms easy with one little effortless push. It makes a sound when you put your head on but that has never bothered me (the children enjoy the sound it makes). It is smaller than your usual sleeping pillow, but somehow is just the right size. It has its own pillowcase (white and good quality). The husks are in a separate white case (good quality) with a zipper and it can be washed after taking the buckwheat out. Vitacost has the best price.

Great pillow
Love this pillow. It is so comfortable! I like it better than my expensive foam pillow. Because the buckwheat hulls move, it gives me the support where I need it.
