Burt's Bees Hand Salve -- 0.3 oz
photo is deceiving...
This is a very small container of hand salve--think lip gloss size. Although it's good stuff, don't expect to get many uses from this container size. Seems so small it's silly--unless you just want to sample it.

Great, portable hand salve
I like this little tin of different smelling product. It's small enough to tote around with me, in a tiny purse if needed. I can't stand to notice in public that I may have dried cuticles or knuckles or elbows, so that's what I use it for. It can give a nice little shine to your natural nails too. You don't have to keep reapplying it. It has lasted me forever.
I don't appreciate products that are masked in perfume. This is a salve; a more natural, nourishing product that perfumed lotion. Plus I can't use fragrance on my skin anyway. I don't mind the smell. I mostly notice the rosemary and eucalyptus. If you don't generally like the smell of those eseential oils, perhaps you would not like the smell of this product.
I do think guys would be okay with the smell, size, and container. I can't see a guy toting around a large bottle of moisturizer. Plus again, this is a hand salve - a little goes a long way.

I love burt bee's products. However, I felt this item was ok. It's a VERY small tin of what looks like hair grease. It was work efficiently, however it won't last long. The fact that it's in a small tin is strange as well. It does have a strong menthol odor... which gives the sense that it's medicated although it's not. This is why it's great to apply before going to bed. Overall, it's ok. I won't purchase it again.

As with all of the Burt's Bees products that I have purchased over the years, this is up to their great standards.

Not the worst...
Well, I'd never tried Burts Bees hand creme products, so thought I'd try this. It might help someone's hands, but I found it to be a little greasy.
This is a very small tin of salve as well - I would definitely NOT repurchase it. Right now, the best use for it is to use it like I would Mentholatum, because that is also exactly what this smells like. Personally, I like hand items to smell good, and this one definitely fails.
I think this one is best left for the men, but men would probably have no patience for the little tin (about the size of a half dollar). All in all, I can't recommend this product. The ingredients are fine, but I don't like the way it feels or smells.
