Delicious coffee substitute
Very flavorful and full-bodied tea that resembles coffee without the caffeine. Similar to the coffee substitue given to WWII soldiers. Ingredients of roasted barley, chicory, carob and cinnamon, allspice and anise aroma is calming and delicious to the palate. I am a consumer and not one who works for Vitacost or any other grocer.

Not Happy
Based on great reviews, I purchased this with great anticipation. I expected this be a flavor similar to Cafix or Pero, but it wasn't even close. Did not like at all. Annoying, because I now have two boxes of this stuff that I will have to use up. Better to buy one box and try it before buying a two-pack.

I tried this as a coffee substitute and thought it tasted bad. I prefer Cafix.

Instead of another cup of coffee...
We've been drinking this "tea" for a long time & love it! It does not taste like tea but more like coffee. When I want a hot cup of something but don't want tea, coffee, or anything processed to be decaf, I drink this. One bag easily makes 2 cups.
