Completely useless Centrum vitamins/minerals are at best useless, and at worst actually harmful. Why? It is all because of the ingredients used to formulate the pill. Centrum uses the lowest-cost, least-effective, most synthetic versions of all the vitamins and minerals in insignificant doses. They are badly absorbed and not health-promoting. Sure, it's cheap, but it's also like eating a placebo pill with no worth. I don't understand why on earth Vitacost is carrying Centrum products now, as these vitamins are so low on the quality scale, compared to everything else on this site. Centrum is owned by a multibillion dollar pharmaceutical company by the way, Pfizer. If anyone thinks Pfizer has any interest in keeping customers healthy so that they don't have to purchase Pfizer's expensive medicines, then get real and think again. July 31, 2012

Warnings

Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately. Long term intake of high levels of Vitamin A (excluding that sources from beta-carotene) may increase the risk of osteoporosis in adults. Do not take this product if you are taking other Vitamin A supplements. As with any supplement, if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking medications, consult your doctor before use.
