1 lb chicken breast (raw of tofu

1/4 cup red wine

 

Optional Toppings: Diced green onions • sautéed mushrooms • pine nuts

Variations: Grilled patties

 

Ready in about 30 minutes

  1. Pour Cranberry Wild Rice mix into a pot
  2. Add 2 3/4 cups water - Option: 1/4 cup red wine with 2 1/2 cups water
  3. After 15 mins, add 1/2" diced chicken breast or tofu
  4. Heat on high until boil
  5. Simmer uncovered on Medium heat for 25 mins or until water evaporated

 

Made your way: Drain any remaining water • Season to taste with salt & pepper

Great, quick and tasty meal My husband and I tried this dish last year, not expecting too much. It has ended up being one of our favorites. We have used chicken thighs, chicken breasts and cooked turkey in it with equally good results. We love the amazing rosemary flavor! January 5, 2014
Nasty This tastes like you are eating a cooked pine tree. The cranberries give it a sweet taste, but there is way too much rosemary in this. I cooked it with a diced chicken breast, but had to toss it out. December 9, 2013
