Perfect snack - these sardines taste great
For an easy-to-fix snack or lunch: arrange well-drained sardines on a platter with some thick, grainy mustard, a big pile of saltines, and small chunks of sweet onion. Top a cracker with sardine piece, mustard, then onion - eat - take a sip of iced tea (or beer) - repeat. Water-packed works best with this and the rich smoky sardines are just right with the strong mustard/onion topping. I could eat this every day. Serve when friends come over to watch a game or movie (and add salami and cheddar to your platter for the less daring participants).

Okay, but I have tasted better.
Sardines are whole and good quality. The smoke is overpowering and the flavor is alright. I prefer sardines in virgin olive oil.
