You Will Need
2 Teaspoons Sugar, 4 Tablespoons Butter or Margarine (melted)
12 oz. Cream Cheese, 8" Pie Plate, Whisk & Fork, ¾ Cup Hot Water, Sauce Pan or Glass Bowl
Graham Crust: Empty the crust package into a small bowl. Add the melted butter and sugar, using a fork, mix until all of the crust crumbs are moistened. Press into a pie plate, using the back of a spoon. For a crunchier crust, bake for 10 minutes in a preheated 350oF oven.
Stove-Top Directions: In a 1 ½ quart sauce pan, add softened cream cheese to ¾ cup hot water. Stir over low heat until the cream cheese is melted. Add the cheesecake mix and stir until mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat and carefully pour into the prepared crust. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish and serve.
Microwave Directions: Combine ¾ cup hot water and mix in a microwave-safe bowl. Whisk until smooth. Add the softened cream cheese and microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir thoroughly and cook an additional 1 minute. Carefully pour into the prepared crust. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving. Garnish and serve.
