I would recommend this mask - with some caveats
I quite like this mask, and would recommend it to others, with a few caveats attached. This mask won't be for everyone - if your skin is sensitive and easily irritated, this will probably be too much for you. I don't consider myself to have especially sensitive skin, but once this mask is removed my skin does remain red for a period of time, so this mask wouldn't be one to apply just prior to going out. Additionally, it does burn a bit almost immediately upon application; not the stinging I associated with AHAs, but quite a warm sensation. It is transitory, and lasts only a minute or two, but people who are considering this mask should know that they might have a similar experience.
With that out of the way: the benefits. This is a really nice mask! It's much less drying than I've found some other clay masks to be, such as the Aztec Secret Indian Secret Indian Healing Clay. Your skin isn't going to be left as dehydrated after this mask. It emulsifies cleanly away when you use water, and it isn't difficult to remove as some clay masks can be. I really like that it has a few key ingredients that are simple and effective (kaolin, bentonite, glycolic acid, salicylic acid) and skips other irritants that are cosmetically unnecessary. My skin is left smooth after using this, giving a great canvas for makeup application.
Another really awesome thing that this mask is great for is dealing with sebaceous filaments (the things on your nose that look like blackheads). Everyone has sebaceous filaments and you can never remove them, which is why using those Biore pore strips - although fun - is a very temporary fix, and you'll find they've filled back in within a day. I've found that using this mask about once a week really helps to diminish the appearance of any sebaceous filaments. They appear substantially lighter and smaller in size after using this. If you struggle with this issue, give this mask a try! You could even apply it just to the nose/inner face area if you'd like a targeted solution, though I do apply it all over the face and neck.
I hope that this review helps others figure out if this mask is right for them before purchasing. I really like this, and would repurchase, especially at Vitacost's price.

I really like this product
I use a lot of Derma E products and tried this for the first time about a year ago. I don't use it every day - just about once a month - but I really like it. There is a noticeable difference in the brightness of my skin and pore size after use. I do have sensitive skin, and this mask does leave my skin a little red after use, but I combat that by only leaving it on for about five minutes. The redness goes away quickly and I'm thinking that's pretty normal for most people after applying a mask of glycolic acid and scrubbing. By the way, I HAVE recommended this to a friend and she loved it too.

Used this once and didn't even try it on my face (thank goodness.) The area I tested it on turned bright red and felt tight and irritated. I have sensitive, oily, acne prone skin so I'm sure it would probably work on other skin types.

i do like a lot of this particular line, but wish they would revise most of the packaging. the cost is a bit more than the average natural/ organic line and for that most of the tube packaging looks shady... a lot of air bubbles and crooked labels. i have yet to try the integrity of this mask, but have tried the enzyme one and love it. i'm sure i will most likely this one too. although when i first looked at the tubes i was annoyed. PLEASE derma e have quality control before sending out your products to sell!
