The BEST shampoo I've found
My hair is very temperamental and I'm figuring out what works for me and what doesn't. This shampoo has made that so much easier for me! It is completely natural and vegan, no sulfates, none of the added ingredients you'd find in commercial shampoos... It does exactly what it says it will do. I find myself using way too much even when I put a quarter sized amount in my palm. The lather is wonderful, it feels so thick and sudsy. You really don't need too much of this to get your hair clean. I have hair down to the middle of my back and it has helped immensely with my oily scalp and dry ends. My hair usually does weird stuff no matter what hair routine I use, though I have discovered that when I use this along with an apple cider vinegar rinse (1 tbsp acv + 1 cup cold water), my hair is much more manageable. Not to mention shiny and soft as can be!
I plan to reorder this for as long as it's available!

Best shampoo ever
I've been using this shampoo for a couple of years now and so has my husband. I have medium length curly thin hair and my husband has black thick hair. This one works for both of us. I can finally untangle my hair after using this and the conditioner without putting any toxic detanglers into my hair.

I love all the products that I have tried so far made by Desert Essence. The Desert Essence Coconut Shampoo was wonderful. My hair felt conditioned, soft, had more body and was easy to manage. I have long curly hair which at times can get quite unruly! I will be purchasing the Desert Essence Coconut Conditioner the next time I make purchases from Vitacost. Love this shampoo and will purchase again.

Best Shampoo Ever!
I am so thrilled with this purchase. It is exponentially cheaper on this site than anywhere else I've ever seen it, but more than the price, the product is FANTASTIC. It is fair trade, vegan (and organic I believe...?) and smells AMAZING. Just a little bit makes my hair feel wonderful and it reliably does a good job cleaning my hair but not stripping it or leaving it oily. I love it and the accompanying conditioner. Pretty sure this is now my permanent shampoo.
