Smells divine Love the lavender scent of this lotion. It's light, nongreasy, absorbs quickly, but it's not quite thick and lasting enough to use as my daily post shower body lotion. I do keep it with me for use on my hands through the day, though, for light moisture with a wonderful relaxing scent. November 5, 2012

Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil: Steam distilled from Lavender grown in Bulgaria, this flower has a sweeter smell than traditional lavender and has a reputation for being able to aid in healing the skin.

Desert Essence Organics Bulgarian Lavender Hand and Body Lotion is an organic lotion that uses Bulgarian Lavender to calm the skin and senses. Bulgarian Lavender is from a different species of plant than traditional lavender. This species is known throughout Eastern Europe to have a healing effect on the skin, as well as an ability to soothe the senses.
