This product is very good for increasing HCL in your gut.
I have been taking it for about a month and will continue.
Only thingis that you need to eat within 10 -15 mon of taking it or you may get a warm feeling in your stomach.

BEST Betaine HCl
This is by far the best Betaine product I have tried in the last 10 years. I will never switch again.

Disappointed
Understanding the as we age, the digestive system needs HCI, I tried this product. See no change toward helpful digestion.

Big digestive aid
Hey, check out this great digestive combo. It sure helps with heavier and/or protein meals, and Vitacost's price is very attractive, too.

Surprised To Find
I am sure the product is fine and when it arrived a little sticker on the top of the cap said one of the ingredients was taken from pigs thus the product is not for vegetarians. I missed that if it was in the description. So I was disappointed. Oh sure I could have sent it back and I am not that rigid a vegetarian! Hopefully this review will keep you from purchasing this product if you can pick another.
