Stove Top:
1. Empty package contents into saucepan. Gradually stir in 2 cups (475 ml) cold milk. Cook over medium heat (not higher), stirring constantly, until filling thickens and boils (bubbles break surface). When bubbles first break surface, continue to boil and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat (pudding will thicken further while chilling).
2. Cool 5 min., stirring twice, pour pudding into dessert dishes and serve warm or chilled. For pie, pour into 8" (20 cm) baked pie shell; chill 3-4 hours. Tip: Place plastic wrap on surface of warm pudding to prevent formation of skin.
Microwave:
1. Empty package contents into 6 cup (1.5 l) microwaveable bowl whisk in 2 cups (475 ml) cold milk until thoroughly mixed. Microwave uncovered at high (100%) 10 min. or until mixture thickens and boils, stirring every 2 min. to prevent lumping.
2. Proceed to step 2 of stove-top directions. Note: Cooking times are tested for 700 watt ovens; increase by 2-4 min. for lower-wattage ovens.
