A little thick The product cleaned well but was a little thick for my Bissell machine. It doesn't dissolve too well in water...even hot water. I shook it up and only slighty dissolved. Afraid it might clog the mechanism. The one time I used it it did a nice job on the rug. May 22, 2013

Great natural carpet shampoo I have been using this for a couple of years for spot cleaning, but recently bought a new carpet machine (Hoover Max Extract Widepath) and just finished doing my whole house with it. Smells great, very thick though This smells great and works well for odors. However, the formula is very thick for my machine and I found I had to really dilute it in order to use it. Sometimes this meant I had to go over the carpet an extra time after I had already cleaned it, but overall it was nice to find a nice, natural carpet cleaner that smells really good and works well. Use 1.5 oz of carpet shampoo per gallon of water. Fill all steam machine cup, following individual machine directions. For heavily stained carpeting and for pre-spoting, use up to 2.5 oz. If excess foaming occurs, use less. Be sure to move the machine at a steady, even pace, givingcarpet shampoo the chance to be deposited into the pile, and then extracted. Some soiled surfaces may require agitation. Per-soak tough stains. For use on wool, nylon, olefin, cottons rugs and more. One bottle of rug shampoo will clean up to eight average-sized rooms.

Ingredients: Plant-based surfactants, soap bark, chamomile, horsetail plant, bergamont & sage, purified water.
