The heads are so cheap that it just makes sense and it's better not to create the added waste of whole toothbrushes in the trash every 6 months. The only thing that would make it better is if the heads were recyclable. They are high quality and last a long time.
I've use the Eco-Dent toothbrush with replaceable heads for about 6 years. In that time, I've had only 1 handle. I imagine I'll have the same toothbrush handle 6 years from now as well.

Great product for a great price!
I have been using the eco-dent toothbrush refills for years now, and have been consistently happy with how durable they are and how well they work. This site has the best price I've found, so I bought in bulk and now I'm set for 5 years! These toothbrushes are easy to keep clean and the heads are easy to replace. My whole family uses them! I love them!
