This is a keeper I'm so glad I discovered this product. I can feel good about not harming the planet and my wash is clean without adding boosters or bleaches or soda or anything. It even got my husband's yucky work clothes clean without pre-treating! It's good in cold or hot water and has a great lavender scent. My husband said he thought about me all day and I'm certain it was because of the lavender scent. I thought about giving it to my friends for Christmas! December 10, 2011

Gentle for an SLS-based Detergent! I'm new to SLS-free cleaning and hygiene, so I wasn't really watching the labels when I bought this laundry soap. I used it for about a month (3 weekends) before I actually looked at the label, and I was completely surprised to see "sodium laurylsulphate" in the ingredients. I have to tell you, I still love this product. I'm still experimenting with SLS-free products, but if I don't get satisfaction from them I will come back to this one. You use tiny little caps full and this small amount effectively cleans large-capacity loads in my top loading machine. November 28, 2011

Ecover Laundry Wash Liquid Directions

For ease of use, dosing indicators are shown on the inside of the cap.
For colors: Use 2 1/2 fl oz per machine load of normally soiled laundry. Use 3 fl oz for heavily soiled laundry and for hard water. Use 2 fl oz for soft water.
For whites: For optimal results, follow the above instructions, and add Ecover Non Chlorine Bleach.
Ecover Laundry Wash is also great for handwashing. Just dissolve 2 fl oz in 1.5 gallon of warm water. Wash and rinse your clothes as normal.
