Too thick! The flavor is good, but it is way too thick to use with ease. To make miso soup, you really have to work on it to dissolve---Eden Foods' other miso are much easier to work with. Hatcho is supposed to be thicker, yes, but not so thick that you have to spend minutes, not seconds, making sure it's blended into the soup! It does have good red-miso flavor, but for the price, I expect it to be a better quality miso. March 29, 2013

Tasty! I used to be able to buy Miso at the store and now I can't find it anywhere, so I am tickled to have been able to find it on Vitacost! They have everything! :) This brand of Miso is pretty darn good! I have two different flavors of it and they are both good. Enjoy! :) December 22, 2012
