Husband prefers loose tea to teabags. Bought this for my husband. He recently had some green tea with roasted brown rice tea and really enjoyed it. He decided that he prefers the more robust flavor of loose tea to teabags. April 11, 2013

Love this tea! I had enjoyed a roasted brown rice tea once when I was out, but had such a difficult time finding it again anywhere. I was so happy to find it here, and it's as good as I remembered it. This will now be a regular option at my home. Great toasty flavor! I tried this tea recommended by my friend who grew up in Japan. She said it has the authentic flavor she remembers from her childhood. Just OK This tea smells heavenly, but it really only makes one full flavored cup. Overall a good product, I just wish it could be two full flavored cups per tea bag. The prices at Vitacost make experimenting with different teas possible. I highly recommend Haiku's Hojicha tea. November 12, 2011

Hot: We recommend using a ceramic, glass, earthenware or stainless steel kettle or teapot. Heat water to almost a boil. Fill a cup and steep the tea bag for 4 plus minutes and remove. Green tea should not be boiled.

Iced: For a glass of ice tea, brew as above. After steeping, cool and then pour into an ice filled glass. To make a pitcher of ice tea, we recommend using 4 teas bags to 1 quart water for 6 servings
