Disgusting!
I guess it's a matter of personal taste, but my sister and I, both long-time unsweetened, licorice-flavored DGL consumers, found this to be inedible! They taste horrible, have a strange consistency and actually made us feel nauseous. Worst of all, they don't seem to work and you can't take more because of the daily limit listed on the bottle. I can tolerate a lot, and am not the kind to throw away anything with value, but I'm throwing this out...disgusting!

Tastes awesome!
I wasn't sure how licorice could be flavored to taste like german chocolate, but there is absolutely no licorice flavor to these. They taste great! My digestion is doing much better since I started eating these before meals; however, I've made a lot of other changes at the same time, so can't say for sure which change has helped the most.

Better taste and works good
This brand taste better than most other brands, especially the german chocolate. Easy to chew and it works great.

Careful! My bottle had different ingredients
I have been using this product in different formulations (original, fructose-free, ultra etc.) The last DGL Fructose Free German Chocolate I received had different ingredients than listed on this web site and tastes worse than the others. I like the increased strength of the Ultra, but the flavor of the regular fructose free.
