I purchased 2 of these bowls, They are actualy 2.5qt there are a wider range in this brand. I have to feed suppliments and hold the original bowls in my hands. I have a raised feeder for the dogs and the new are in the feeder with the kibble. These wash up shiny clean and no rust. Unless you have a bowl chewer, this are fine for most pets. Good bowls, Good value
