Good basic shampoo This shampoo cleans well and has a gentle formula. It lathers up well and doesn't strip my hair. I have used it as a body and face wash, and it works well for that purpose, as well. It smells nice (sweet and a little coconutty - not too loud a scent). This would be a good shampoo for about anyone, although perhaps not for someone with very dry hair. February 13, 2013

Best for some with oily hair I really did not like this shampoo at first. I bought it hoping I could use it as a shampoo and shave gel, but it is so drying that when I shaved my legs with it my legs were practically raw afterwards and I got razor burn bumps. This shampoo bottle says it is for normal to dry hair, but I found the opposite is true. I have fine hair that tends to get oily and discovered that this shampoo would eliminate the oil and help give my hair body. This was a happy coincidence for me. But my husband, who has thick hair that gets fairly oily, has found it's drying his hair out, maybe because he washes his hair more often than I do. So, I would say this shampoo is not for everyone. I also wish it smelled like coconuts. It doesn't, but has a mild fragrance added to it. December 6, 2012

Safe, effective, gentle, and great lather I love this product and am so happy to see that Vitacost has it. The product lasts a long time and lathers easily in hair and with a body pouf. Only 1/2 a pump is neccessary. It is so nourishing and is very gentle on sensitive skin. My family loves that it has no added fragrances. We use this as a body wash and as a shave gel too! so worth it! Incredible value for the price! I have a super sensitive scalp and I find that this shampoo (and matching conditioner) strike the right balance of cleaning with moisturizing and gentle care. It might take a few times for your hair to get used to it, but it is so worth sticking it out. I love this shampoo and am so glad vitacost carries it! September 24, 2012
