Use 2/3 cup water for every 1/3 cup of oatmeal. Put oatmeal and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil then cook on medium/low heat stirring occasionally for 3-5 minutes depending on desired consistency. Top with brown sugar, honey or maple syrup. Finish with a splash of cream, milk or half-and-half. Add a pinch of cinnamon. Enjoy!
Microwave Directions:
Put 1 1/3 cup of oatmeal and 2/3 cup of water in a large microwave-safe bowl Cook for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir and cook for another 1 1/2 minutes. Let cool. top with your favorites.
