Flora Extra-Virgin Olive Oil -- 17 fl oz
All extra virgin olive oil is great when first made & bottled. I believe that to preserve the most nutrition without adding impurities, it should come in a darkeded glass (or earthen-type) bottle. This does.

All the check marks
I based my olive oil purchase decision on probable freshness and wholesomeness, and this one came out on top. It's extracted from the first cold pressing, but it's in a lot of company there. It's organic, but there are several who can also make that claim.
After that the field becomes more exclusive. It's nitrogen flushed -- a very good idea. It's in a brown bottle -- much better than the usual green or clear bottles for keeping the product fresh, but not attractive on the shelf. The icing on the cake is that Vitacost keeps it refrigerated, really not necessary but a following of label instructions. When it arrived it was only four months since bottling date. Assuming, then, that the olives were fresh, the oil is, too.
As for the taste, I'm not qualified to judge, but it's not too strong and doesn't have any bitter tones.
I think I made the right decision.

AUTHENTIC OLIVE OIL!
I love Flora's products, and this EVOO knocks my socks off. It is green, solidifies in the fridge (sign it is true olive oil), has a rich strong taste of green olives, comes in a nice opaque bottle so the manufacturers want to extend the shelflife of your product... this is indeed the real deal! Just say no to fake soybeanoil EVOO with green dye and buy the real stuff, your body and taste buds will thank you for it. A bit pricey but youre paying for quality.
Also if you do the oil cleansing method, using this product changed my oil cleansing method routine by a longshot!
I highly recommend this product!

This is the real deal!
I have tried many olive oils, but this one taste great. Most oil on the market is fake and know to be cut with soybean or some other oil. The true test is to put the olive oil in the fridge and after a day or so if it get cloudy or hard, its the real deal, 100% olive oil. This one gets so hard you can't pour it out the bottle, so I don't store it in the fridge. Excellent live oil.
