This product is vegetarian. I've been using this product for sometime and think it is effective. Here's a quote on that directly from the manufacturer. "It is produced from a non animal sourced bacterial fermentation." July 25, 2012

Not Vegetarian I noticed the other review of this product suggests that this is a 100% vegetarian product. I know of no vegetarian source for hyaluronic acid. Every source I am aware of is from animals. The vegetarian designation is for the capsule portion only, not the contents. November 22, 2008
