Frontera All Natural Black Bean Chili Starter Description
The Black bean Chili Starter is reminiscent of the first chilis that simmered in pots along both sides of the Rio Grande - with a dose of smoked chipotle chiles added to the mix. Just add meat (or your favorite vegetables), simmer and serve.

Black Bean Chili - Serves 5-6
1 pound coarsely ground beef or turkey
1 jar Frontera Black Bean Chili Starter
Cook and stir the beef or turkey n a large saucepan over medium heat until the meat is nicely browned, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the Chili Starter and 1 cup water. Simmer, partly covered, stirring often, about 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt.
Serve in warm bowls with your favorite chili toppings. We love to add fresh cilantro, chopped onions, shredded cheese and crumbled tortilla chips.
