Frontera Red Chile Enchilada Sauce -- 8 fl oz
Excellent and versatile sauce
I've been using Rick Bayliss's Frontera sauces and marinades for a while now and can't recommend them highly enough.
The red enchilada sauce is indeed excellent in enchiladas, but it also makes a good base (with broth) for a pot of red posole. I also throw it into braises (chicken, pork, beef) for that little extra dimension the peppers in this sauce give the dish.
I like that there are no preservatives in Frontera products, which is why I gave them a try the first time I saw them. Just an excellent line of products.
