Frontier Natural Products Organic Ethnic Seasoning Berbere Description
We combine twelve different spices to produce this wonderful, spicy blend which has its origins in Ethiopa. It has a very coarse, earthy texture and adds a zesty hot flavor to meats when used as a rub for grilling, barbecuing or panfrying.
Suggested Use: Combine 1 cup uncooked lentils, 3 cups water, 1 lb cooked meat or tofu, 2 Tbsp seasoning, 14.5 oz diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil, simmer about 1 hour, or until lentils are tender.
