simple, short ingredient list, effective
I searched the internet high & low, looking for reviews of this shampoo and could not find any, but I took a chance and purchased this shampoo anyways. My hair is fine, a lot thinner than it used to be, oilier at the roots and drier at the ends. Usually what I look for in a shampoo is a simple, short ingredient list, preferably without sodium chloride or silicones. I have also found that many shampoos, including most sulfate free shampoo that I have used, don't work well on my oilier scalp and cause the length of my hair to tangle. Also many make shedding worse. This shampoo is a simple sulfate containing shampoo which cleanses my hair well but does not dry it out. After using a bit of conditioner, my hair is clean and shiny. I have also noticed shedding is not too bad with this shampoo. I have long suspected DHT build up on my scalp, and from what I have learned, sulfates may do a better job at removing DHT than sulfate free ones. In my case, I think this is true, because whenever I go sulfate free I start shedding like crazy, and when I go back to sulfates it gets better. The price is great on this shampoo and it has a nice, light, herbal smell. If you don't have an aversion to sulfates & you are suffering from hair loss, this is worth a try.
