Giovanni All-Natural Wicked Hair Wax The Definition of Pomade -- 2 oz
I use this stuff just as often as the fancy stuff
Good hold but light feeling. Somewhere in between a gel and pomade.

Don't want to run out!
I love this hair product-have been using it on my fine, straight hair for years. Gives me instant volume. Also love that it is light weight, holds my style beautifully.

Works better than the greasy stuff
I was a little skeptical taking a shot on this without actually being able to smell it before buying it. But I read the reviews here and took a gamble.
Man, did that gamble ever pay off!
I have been using Murrays and Royal Crown for years. The negative on those are that they are really greasy, hard to wash out and I don't know what kind of chemicals are in them. Plus, I run a lot and there is nothing worse than getting sweaty greasy pomade on your face and in your eyes. Not to mention, on hot days, the top of your head will turn into a skillet.
Giovanni is all natural and smells amazing. Not tested on animals which is another plus. It holds my hair great for 5k and 10k runs and for just hanging out on windy days. It washes out easy. I couldn't be happier and have only been using this since my first can.
Also, it isn't that expensive. Take a look around your local store or salon and see what American Crew is charging for a similar (and inferior) product.
Vitacost delivers really fast and are easy to order from. Highly recommended.

Very tiny amount of this pomade will hold my hair for a long time. I like the way it adds a bit of wave to my quite straight hair - allows for easy styling.

like the product, hate the smell
I bought this after a search for unscented hair products brought it up. The ingredients did mention fragrance but I was hoping for a light masking scent to cover the smell of the ingredients.
No such luck. It is so foul I cannot use it, and it takes forever to wash the smell off my hands.
It's a shame, because I liked what it did for my hair.
It would be helpful if, when people review products, they would mention WHAT they smell like, not just say things like 'smells good' or 'has a light scent,' because apparently 'light' is very subjective.
