Love this product!
I use the blonde but am buying this color for a friend. I've been using the bottle style for 2 years and have never had an issue with any of the bottles. I keep it both on a shelf in shower and in hanging basket. Never seen a drop leak out. Never had the tab get loose or wear out. I give it five stars all around. My only note is that it is very concentrated compared to most shampoos so I have to remember to put a small bit in my palm (I have long hair) or if I forget and go to standard glob, I waste a lot. As I don't use it every day, I still sometimes forget.

Product is good, container needs improvement
I like Giovanni and this is a good product that is thick and covers my white/grey roots well. Helps stretch my in-between coloring period a bit farther. The bottle design however (inverted bottle with a snap cap) leaves a lot to be desired. It leaks all over my shower tub, leaving rings of dark color that's hard to clean. The thin snap lid would soon break off, leaving you no way to close the bottle after use. I bought several of the same brand (brown and black) and all acted the same way. I am not buying again until the company revamps its bottle design.

Great for grey!
I have salt and pepper hair. This shampoo imparts a softer silver color to the gray while deepening the very dark hair. My hair feels quite smooth when I use this shampoo but I also use the conditioner since my hair is long and curly. The conditioner make combing out tangles very easy. The smell the shampoo is blackberry! This shampoo and conditioner adds some volume to my hair.
