Why Must Be Organic, Sprouted, & Low Heat!
Seeds pre-pared like this costs more elsewhere to save time sprouting & low-heat drying for MAX DIGESTIBILITY & NUTRITION by:
1) sprouting disabling their hindering Phytic Acid; and
2) low instead of typical high-heat-drying protecting their unstable unsaturated fat(oil) from oxidizing/becoming rancid depleting Vitamin E; and from destroying vitamins as well as their enzymes needed to break down & digest the seeds & their nutrients.
And since Sunflowers are not a food crop, they can be drenched with terribly toxic Herbicides unless Organically grown like these if you're wondering don't have big green sprouts protruding I guess minimally sprouted before low-heat drying stops further sprouting, leaving them alive, crunchy, & minimally sea salted.
We mix these together with Go Raw's Organic Sprouted PUMPKIN Seeds (aka Pepitas) for gluten-free SALAD crunch more nutritious than croutons, & adding dried CRANBERRIES for a nutritious SNACK MIX :)

Organic Sprouted Seeds
My favorite use for these seeds is in a salad of mixed greens, shredded carrots, mandarin orange sections, sprouted sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, and blue cheese. Very yummy. I also make a tasty dressing by blending together lime infused olive oil, raspberry flavored balsamic vinegar, a dab of marmalade, and a little water. Best to store the seeds in the refrigerator to keep the flavor fresh.
