good as it gets
We switched to this liquid so we could give it to my 84 yr old dad more easily than the capsules we were using. I use it as well. It works as well as capsules. The liquid form is ideal for those who find pills and capsules difficult to take. Suprisingly, the tincture has a pleasant taste. Not what you expect when you smell valarian.

Weak?
This extract has a surprisingly good taste for Valerian. It is a little stronger than the passion flower extract I also bought from Herb Pharm. I almost hate to write the review because I think my tolerance to herbs might be a bit high. I bought this to help me calm down at night because I tend to run in overdrive a lot.
I really cannot tell a difference after taking it. I resorted back to melatonin. I will not buy this brand again. I think there are stronger ones out there.
