Verrrry Salty
I have tried this toothpowder several times. It states that it is cinnamon flavored however I do not taste any cinnamon flavor at all. The only thing I taste is salt. I can not get over the overpowering salt flavor, so I will not be purchasing this again. I can not even finish using the 4 ounce container that I recently purchased :-(

Happy that Vitacost is carrying this.
I've used this for several years and it has been great for cleaning teeth and keeping gums healthy. Dental hygienist says "keep doing whatever you're doing".

Try it for a cleaner mouth
It amazes me that toothpaste manufacturers have gotten away with the level of clean their products provide. Essentially it seems, the ADA recommendation requires sub-par product that will deliver more patients to the dentist. Hey, somebody has got to pay for that tremendous overhead, and it might as well be you.
Objectively, there is nothing sweet about this product, so your kids won't like it. It will clean the palette, so maybe they can dial back the fried flavors they consumer. But enough about kids. You on the other hand have the good sense and hard earned experience to appreciate a product that delivers its labelled claims. I say, here ya go. Enjoy the functional results.
BTW: An ultra soft toothbrush is all you need with this product. Give it a little time to correct the buildup others have made, rather than abrading your enamel.
Cheers!

Works great
Great healthy alternative to other toothpastes.
Someone else mentioned it doesn't foam up, you don't want it to foam up. the foam is sls which is toxic.

Tastes like salt. UGG!!!
This tooth powder seemed the best deal to me when I frirst saw it, 4 oz. for the same or less money than the 2 oz. products, now I know why...
It is cinnamon flavor (according to the bottle) but the only thing I can taste is SALT, it's HORRIBLE!!!
It doesn't even create a foam when you brush like toothpaste and leaves your mouth tasting gross.
Buy the more expensive brand.
It's get what you pay for here, NO QUESTION!
