Thick and Strong, but Good
Yes, this stuff could be described as a hair gel-shampoo, but it works for me... after I diluted it 50/50 with bottled water.
It does clean the hair to the point that some would say "strips" the hair, but they're probably using too much. I use just a very small amount (for my short hair), but I live in Florida, and lots of heat and humidity means my hair gets dirty and oily quickly, so I prefer the stronger cleaning power. No repeat shampooing needed.
It also makes a good revitalizing body shampoo.

I love it
I love this shampoo. It makes my hair so fresh and clean, and it smells really good. It is also all natural as well.

Himalaya Shampoo
Awful! Felt like it totally stripped and dried out my hair. Even my teenaged son made that comment - before I even said anything to him! Also WAY to thick a consistency - like thick glop.
Would never buy it again, even though the ingredients on label read well.

Packaging re-done
I too had the same problem with the bottle being hard to squeeze, but I noticed at my local health food store they have re-done the bottle to have flip top lids. Definitely worth trying again, since it is such a clean & natural product at such a good price.

Disappointing
I bought this shampoo with the companion conditioner for the first time because I am always looking for more natural health care products to alternate with the ones I currently use. The shampoo does clean your hair, even though the conditioner does not work at all. However, good luck getting the very thick procuct out of the bottle! If you buy this, be sure to have a pair of pliers in the shower to help you squeeze the bottle, especially after the bottle is half empty. Seriously, try something else. This product isn't worth the hassle.
