Honeybee Gardens PowderColors Stackable Mineral Color Temptress -- 2 g
Moisten brush to apply; color & value excellent
Temptress is a purple-gray shimmer with substantial pigment & subtle variation in different lighting. My thanks to other reviewers for telling how to apply -- 1. barely moisten brush 2. dip brush into shadow pot 3. gently knock off excess 4. apply to eyelid. With a dry brush I would have been disappointed with this shadow -- too flaky, falling-in-my-eye. With an ever-so-slightly moistened brush, I'm thrilled! Long-lasting coverage with great color depth for a very low price! Also, the reviewers' comments on color are essential. I wouldn't have known this shade was purple from how it looked on my monitor. Now that I have the hang of these shadows I'm ordering more.

Beautiful Eye Shadow
Of all the brands and all the shades, this color is truly one of the most beautiful over my brown eyes. Temptress is a smoky plum shade with shimmers of silvery brown. There's also a hint of shimmer in there that reminds me of a sunset hiding in smoke-like clouds. This really is a show stopper color and probably great for all eye and skin tones. On fair skin with brown eyes, it makes a dramatic eye for day or night. I like to pair it with a copper eyeliner and dark brown mascara. This is one of those colors that I think every woman should own. It's sexy, gorgeous, and makes you feel a little more made up. Worth every penny.
The only cons, like all their jars-- no sifter-- and you will probably need a primer if your eyelids get a little oily. Other than that, this is one of my top go-to colors.

That is my biggest complaint about the product. Otherwise, it is a fine color and works well!

Best eyeliner applied with brush
I've been using this exact shade as eyeliner for 4 years now. It is a great go-to color for everyday use and goes on nicely with a brush (I use an Origins eyeliner brush). Just put some of the loose powder in the lid, add one drop of water, and apply! Great product that my sensitive eyes are happy with and it is easy to remove too!

Color Doesn't Show Up
I like Honeybee Gardens products for their quality organic ingredients, but these eyeshadows are a disappointment. They are very difficult to make stick to your eyelid, and the pigment isn't rich, so they hardly show up. They might work better if applied with a damp brush.
Also, I like very natural looking makeup. I bought the shadow in "satin sheets" and "temptress," which both seemed fairly neutral to me, but are actually very very sparkly. The only time I would feel comfortable wearing them is in a club.
