Honeybee Gardens Truly Natural Lipstick Paradise -- 0.13 oz
First time buying a natural lipstick. Love the brand. Lasts well, goes on nice. Just not my color, as I'm brunette and think I need a darker shade.

VERY NICE LIPSTICK
I really do enjoy this lipstick. For me, the color was great. I have light skin with more golden tones, so Cherokee works. It goes on smoothly and yes, you do have to apply it a little more often, but it works very, very well under a complimentary gloss. It doesn't seem to "feather" as many lipsticks do. I apply all lipsticks only after I've used a lip moisturizer, then apply the Honeybee Gardens powder - just a light touch of it - on my lips to hold the color. I look forward to trying some of the other colors.

I love this lipstick. It has a very delicate taste and it doesn't make my lips feel sticky and stiff. It looks good with my more pale skin tone. Will order again.

lovely color but...old product
I ordered Honeybee Gardens' Paradise and Cherokee lipsticks at the same time (March, 2013). The Cherokee lipstick was fine both in terms of color and smooth, lasting texture. The color is a neutral clay-red brown that, surprisingly, goes with my cooler tone Asian skin. The Paradise, however, smelled rancid and the oils (canola oil???) had "sweated" out on the outside of the lipstick. Vitacost replaced the first Paradise lipstick I got but the replacement had the same problem--I think they were from the same batch that had gone bad.
The thing is, the Paradise color is my favorite color out of all the lipsticks I've tried. There's a light shimmer which I wasn't looking for, but the dark pink/light mauve/dark clay pink is very subtle but very pretty. San Francisco, which I have as well, is very frosty in comparison and is a lighter shade of pink. I liked the Paradise color so much that I've been using the rancid lipstick I got...but am now reordering a year later hoping that I'll get a fresher product.
In my experience, Honeybee Gardens lipsticks are thicker going on--and they're so stiff they sometimes break off at the base--but they also last a long time once applied.

expected a nice moist lipstick, it seems dry and not what I expected from a natural product
