Hugo Naturals Shampoo Color Protecting Mango -- 12 fl oz
Good for color treated hair
I have trouble finding shampoos that work for me. I only use natural or organic shampoos. I have long, fine, color treated blond hair. I'm a swimmer and wash my hair every other day. So, I need something gentle but wouldn't build-up over time. Hugo Color Protecting Mango is a good shampoo. I'm happy with the results. My hair is soft, my scalp isn't itchy which happens with shampoos that leave a build-up. I'm going to order the conditioner, hopefully that will work too. I would recommend.

Great for colored hair and smells nice
I bought this shampoo because I wanted something that wouldn't fade colored hair. I am very happy with this purchase. It doesn't fade my color or dry my hair out. Smells lovely too. I was worried that it would be an overwhelming sweet mango smell, but it's not. It's very subtle and nice.

Hugo Naturals Shampoos and Conditioners are all ranked 0 or 1 (very low/very pure) on the EWG's database. This gets my hair clean and doesn't strip out the henna color I use. I only wish the pleasant scent would last in my hair, it doesn't seem to "stick", but at least it smells nice in the shower.

Love this Shampoo!
This shampoo is gentle, leaves my hair clean & healthy, and it smells fresh and lovely. You have to get used to "natural" shampoos since they do not lather much. My hair is shinier and more manageable because it is not brittle and dried out from harsh chemicals. Highly recommend this!

New formula, smaller size, not as good anymore
I used to love this shampoo. About a year ago the formula and package size changed. The size is now 12 oz instead of 16 oz for the same price, and the top five ingredients have changed from flower/herb extracts, to mild cleansing agents (originally natural ingredients, chemically modified). The product is still gentler than most, but not the best or safest out there any longer.
